We require an Experienced Industrial/Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team in order to primarily cover reactive service calls, maintenance and installation works in and around Aberdeen and shire with regular travel around Scotland.

You must be a Fully Qualified Refrigeration Engineer with:

  • SVQ or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • C&G 2078-1 Safe Handling of Ammonia (preferred)
  • C&G 6187-31 CO2 Refrigeration Systems (preferred)
  • C&G 2079 F-Gas Qualification or equivalent
  • C&G 6187-21 Hydrocarbon Qualification or equivalent

Full Valid UK Driving License

Minimum of 5 years experience in Refrigeration.

The position will involve servicing both Industrial & Commercial refrigeration plant (Ammonia/CO2/Fgas), attending reactive calls, diagnosing faults and repairing plant in a timely and effective manner.

Engineers will be required to work away from home from time to time. All accommodation and travel expenses are covered.

Candidates will be placed on the call out rota and will need to be available for weekend and after-hours work. There are many opportunities for overtime - working out of hours and at weekends, which will be paid at overtime rates.

The ideal candidate will be presentable, with good customer skills. We need a team player who is organised and able to prioritise tasks as well as use their initiative. It is also very important that they follow proper H&S procedures and are computer literate to complete cloud-based paperwork.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (Depending on experience)

40 hours per week + overtime + On Call Rate

Ability to commute/relocate: Peterhead: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
