You are applying for the position of Project Support Officer for company UNSW College. This position is located in Kensington L5, full-time, fixed term for 18 months, in a hybrid work environment (work from home and in office). The Opportunity
Be part of something that matters. As Project Support Officer — Illuminate Program, you’ll join a core team delivering an important initiative to help the organisation broaden access to education. This role is hands-on and varied. You’ll help keep projects moving by coordinating tasks, preparing reports, supporting governance, and ensuring things run smoothly from planning through to delivery. What you’ll do:
- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans.
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, risks and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with endorsed project management framework.
- Assist the project team to complete and follow-up tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing minutes, papers, reports & presentations, to support project management delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualification in the relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience in administration and/or project management.
- Demonstrated experience in a project support focused role.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to independently assess and prioritise tasks and issues.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Experience providing a range of secretariat and administrative services.
- Project Management certification is highly desirable.
