We have a vacancy for an Electronics Production Technician at our facility in Witchford. This is a permanent position.
Overview
AMP Ltd are a leading designer and provider of embedded computer and video hardware products used in a wide range of industrial applications worldwide. Our board and system solutions work with analogue and digital video with products for video capture, video encoding, video streaming and video processing using AI and machine learning technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity to get inside the heart of the expanding and vibrant digital video plus AI/ML technology industry.
Duties
- Working on our range of embedded computer and digital video products, alongside a dynamic team of Electronics and Software Engineers, the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Production batch testing of embedded computer modules, peripheral cards and systems
- Test data collection and reporting of observations
- Conformance testing of products
- Investigation and resolution of hardware issues
Technical Skills (Essential)
- Experience and knowledge of circuit board testing
- Ability to read and understand electronic circuit diagrams
- Experience of using digital meters and oscilloscopes
- Experience of using soldering iron
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Qualified to C&G/HND/HNC level

Ideal candidate would be located close to our Witchford (Ely) Offices. This is an exciting position with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a workplace pension and competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
