AMD is expanding its team. We are currently growing our verification and validation team for our networking, low-latency Ethernet Adapters, and SmartNIC technology within the Data Centre Group. We are seeking a high-calibre senior test engineer to join us.
The role: Based on feature requirement specifications, you will design, write, execute, and support comprehensive test cases using modern test frameworks, focusing on use cases derived from customer needs. Collaborating closely with the development team during product testing, you will utilize our proprietary tool chain to run tens of thousands of test cases, analyze results, present findings clearly, and investigate issues to understand root causes.
Requirements:
- A degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline, an equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience
- Solid experience in software testing and/or development roles, with demonstrable expertise
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good understanding of PC architecture and Linux environments
- Proficiency in bug reporting and triage
Desirable:
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP, IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, etc.) and scripting
