Overview
AMD develops highâperformance computing and visualisation products to solve some of the worldâs toughest and most interesting challenges. As we expand across EMEA, one key focus is on the next wave of CSPs. To support this growth, we are seeking a motivated and collaborative Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help manage and grow our Channel partner ecosystem. This entryâlevel role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fastâpaced, partnerâcentric environment.
You will work closely with senior Account Managers and Business Development Executives, receiving guidance and mentorship while supporting both 1:1 and 1: many partner engagement activities. Youâll identify new Tier Two CSPs and qualify their readiness to engage with AMD field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Use outbound calls, emails, and research to identify potential customers and generate new leads. Fully supported by the wider sales team.
- Customer Engagement: Drive the engagement with newly identified CSPs; assess their readiness to work more deeply with AMD. Utilise data to create the data case for the Sales Team to engage with the customer. Discuss futureâlooking opportunities with the identified accounts.
- Data and Analytics: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, update the customer database, and stay informed about products and competitor offers.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; 1-3 years experience in a sales environment; Data centre knowledge and asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for clear and effective interaction with clients.
- Relationshipâbuilding skills to create trust and rapport in a virtual environment.
- Product and industry knowledge to answer questions and demonstrate value.
- Organisational skills to manage a pipeline of leads and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other digital communication platforms.
- Resilience and strategic thinking to navigate competitive markets.
Team Engagement & Support
- Coordinate regular communication touchpoints such as calls, webinars, and newsletters under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support onboarding and enablement activities for new and existing CSPs. Help partners understand AMD's product portfolio and value proposition.
Sales & Pipeline Development
- Collaborate with partners to identify sales opportunities and support pipeline development.
- Participate in and help create joint demand generation activities and follow up on leads.
Success in This Role Means
- Building strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Gaining exposure to strategic channel management and GTM execution.
- Developing skills and experience to grow into more senior roles within AMD's Channel or Sales organisation.
