As a senior technical leader, you will architect and guide the physical design of next-generation CPU cores. Your expertise in microprocessor design and advanced physical design methodologies will be pivotal in delivering industry-leading solutions. You will balance power, performance, and area, while aligning with AMD’s strategic business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the primary technical authority for CPU core physical design, representing your domain to executive management.
- Lead and inspire a team of senior engineers, driving technical reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
- Quantify and communicate the impact of technology choices, risks, and design decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies for area optimization, floor planning, timing, and power targets.
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring robust and scalable design solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical teams and high-speed microprocessor projects.
- Deep knowledge of sub-micron technologies and state-of-the-art physical design tools and flows.
- Hands‑on experience in CPU physical design or related fields.
- Experience in custom circuit design and the ability to create and implement innovative design methodologies.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
