THE ROLE As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include planning, debugging and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.
THE PERSON A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up
- Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
- Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement
- Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script
- Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS
- ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test experience
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines
