The Quality Technician supports project management by tracking timelines, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. The role includes creating and maintaining key documentation such as work instructions, process specs, and SOPs. The Technician will also contribute to automation efforts through basic scripting and is expected to communicate confidently with various departments to drive alignment and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support project management activities, including tracking project timelines, milestone status, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate tasks and follow-ups across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining essential documentation such as work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to automation initiatives by writing scripts or simple tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements, progress, and issues.
  • Provide hands-on support for project-related tasks as needed.
  • Other adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, VBA, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills; vocal and confident in liaising with various teams and departments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn new skills and tools.
