AMS is a world-leading independent developer and manufacturer of innovative tissue-healing technology, focused on quality outcomes for patients and value for payers. AMS has a wide range of surgical products including tissue adhesives, sutures, haemostats, internal fixation devices and internal sealants, which it markets under its brands LiquiBand®, RESORBA®, LiquiBandFix8®, LIQUIFIX™, Peters Surgical, Ifabond, Vitalitec and Seal-G®. AMS also supplies wound care dressings such as silver alginates, alginates, and foams through its ActivHeal® brand as well as under white label.
This role supports the development, launch, and lifecycle management of products across both the OEM and ActivHeal portfolios. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the building of data to support product claims, enabling partners to defend against new entrants to the markets and delivering product launches that meet targets.
- Developing marketing materials to support aspects of both existing and new products.
- Establishing relationships with partners to inform the development of the product portfolio and ensure the range of products fits the partners’ needs.
- Supporting the launch of new products with data, evidence, targeting and strong marketing messaging.
On an annual basis:
- Assist in setting revenue targets for product portfolios.
- Support the Business Development Managers to deliver the annual Business Plan.
- Adhere to the budget for their relevant area and forecast for the following year.
On a daily basis:
- Manage changes to partners’ product ranges, as necessitated by line extensions, brand changes, new product launches, etc.
- Work with Business Development Managers to deliver the current year’s Business Plan.
- Gather market intelligence from all sources including partners, end-users, Business Development Managers, R&D and market data providers.
- Conduct Post Market Surveillance activities on the assigned product range and introduce the information into the product Risk Management and Design Control processes.

- Business or marketing degree.
- Experience within Medical Devices or Healthcare would be advantageous.
- Good analytical skills.
- Spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills.
- Ability to be pro-active, with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation.
- Highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment with continual change.
