Business Development Manager, supporting the ActivHeal Advanced Wound Care portfolio within NHS Acute and Community settings. An exceptional opportunity to take ownership of a key territory for AMS. The role requires someone with the ability to quickly map out a large geographical region and effectively prioritise their time and outline key customers and regional focus. For the right person this role provides the opportunity to drive significant growth and contribute to the strategic direction of the UK ActivHeal business. Working closely with the UK Sales and Marketing Team to deliver against key objectives.
What will this role involve?
- Developing and implementing a territory analysis to maximise sales growth and protect existing base business across the south of England.
- Evaluating return on investment when undertaking activities through sales data analysis and effective diary planning.
- Responsible for management of formulary/contract timelines, identifying regional KOL’s and relationship building with commercial and clinical key decision makers within Acute and Community settings.
- Coordinating evaluations of all products and formulary inclusions from discussion stage to implementation.
- Home based role with frequent travel.
What we're looking for?
- Experienced sales person with strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach.
- New Business hunting mentality, with the ability and experience of negotiating and converting business with senior procurement teams.
- Self-starter with hunger for financial and career progression.
- Positive mind set, with a persistent and professional approach to appointment generation.
- Proven track record of success in current and previous roles within existing and new accounts.
- Ability to demonstrate territory development and present a comprehensive business plan.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel extensively within territory.
Preferred:
- Proven experience and success with senior NHS Procurement & ICB's.
- Knowledge of the customer base, experience of similar products and call points and competitor knowledge.
- Wound care or Medical Devices sales is an advantage but not essential for the right candidate.
- Science or Business Degree preferred but not essential.
