The UK Marketing Manager will drive the development and implementation of the UK-wide marketing strategy for the Surgical division in alignment with global category strategies. This role also oversees pricing, contract management, and tenders across all market segments including NHS, private healthcare, and partner distributors, ensuring commercial competitiveness and market access.

What the role involves:
- Strategic Marketing
- Design and execute the national marketing strategy based on global category objectives.
- Lead market access and product entry efforts in coordination with category teams.
- Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales enablement to demonstrate measurable impact towards sales review growth that results in delivering the UK sales budget.
- Commercial Operations
- Work with UK National Sales Manager to manage pricing structures across NHS, private healthcare providers, and distributor channels.
- Support preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts and tender documents.
- Optimize consignment and reservation order processes through regular sales analysis and collaboration with Customer Services.
- Marketing Execution
- Develop and maintain UK specific marketing materials and promotional campaigns in collaboration with global categories.
- Organise key events such as congresses and assist with sales meetings.
- Plan and implement sales promotion activities in partnership with UK Sales leadership team.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor and report monthly sales statistics and performance metrics to UK National Sales Manager.
- Deliver insights through CRM reporting and analytics to improve market responsiveness.
- Track and provide monthly updates regarding the UK marketing budget to support effective use of resources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers, Sales Team, Sales Specialists, Category Product Managers and Customer Services.
- Create tailored presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- External Engagement & Policy Support
- Lead engagement with UK surgical societies and represent the AMS brand in industry forums when required.
- Support regional sales team initiatives (e.g., Specific ICB's) and UK customers including NHS Trusts and Private Groups.
