Key Account Manager role at Advanced Medical Solutions (AMS). AMS is a world-leading independent developer and manufacturer of innovative tissue-healing technology, focused on quality outcomes for patients and value for payers. AMS markets a range of surgical products and wound care dressings under various brands and distributes globally through partners, distributors and direct sales forces. The Group has R&D hubs in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Israel. Established in 1991, the Group has more than 1,500 employees.
Job Details
To manage customers and clients who hold business with AMS and work with the internal organisation to enable AMS\βs partners to sustain and grow their business. To ensure sales and margin align with expectations and to support the client base in taking additional business from within the Woundcare portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain key customers and position AMS as their preferred supply partner.
- Work with the customer service team to manage and improve communication on orders and complaint handling.
- Forecast for specific customers and provide data to the Business Unit Director and internal departments on future trends and forecasts.
- Respond to technical questions from customers.
- Provide market feedback to the business.
- Support the Business Development Manager with progressing artwork, change controls and coordinating with internal and external partners.
- Provide performance data to key accounts to build pro-active relationships.
What Weβre Looking For
- Science or Business degree.
- Proven relevant key account management experience within a business-to-business environment.
- Preference given to experience within wound care or medical devices.
- Experience expanding key accounts via relationship and knowledge building.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and key stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Broad commercial knowledge.
- Strong IT skills.
- Language skills desirable.
- Willingness to travel between 25% and 50% of the time.
- Home based.
