Advanced Home Care are looking to recruit a Team Manager working from our office based in Kirkham. You will be responsible for the Lytham, St Annes, Kirkham, Freckleton and Warton areas. This is your opportunity to join a motivated, highly driven preferred care provider for Lancashire County Council. You will be working alongside other team managers reporting to the Registered Manager and their deputy.

- Caring nature and the ability to understand the changing needs of the service users and the dynamics of the domiciliary care industry.

- Able to deal with both positive and negative feedback and outcomes.
- Applicants must have NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in health and social care or above, a full driving licence and a vehicle, and must ensure that they have access to transport at all times.
Key Duties
- Manage a team of staff who provide care to service users within their own homes.
- Be involved with or responsible for your team's rotas and rota changes.
- Be responsible for and see that all work is covered and provide hands-on care if necessary.
- Understand and take full responsibility for finding cover at short notice.
- On-call duties.
- Involvement with recruitment.
- Train and motivate staff.
- Assessment of new service users.
- Reviewing existing service users.
- Carry out supervisions, appraisals and disciplinary.
- Arrange and chair staff meetings.
- Day-to-day running of the team.
- Prepare for and attend inspections.
- Deal with complaints.
- Occasionally assist another team to support, if their team manager is unable to attend work or deal with emergencies.
- Support the directors in the running of the company and be involved in assuring quality, goal setting, and forward planning.
- Attend conference and training sessions.
