At Paper Rokk Hair, we\’ve built more than a salon – we\’ve created a premium, calm space where stunning hair meets real connection. Overlooking the broadwater in Southport, our salon is light-filled, sun-drenched, busy but calm, designed to feel just as uplifting for you as it does for our clients.
We\’re looking for a Senior Hairdresser / Senior Stylist ready to step into a role that offers balance, growth, creativity and genuine support. Candidates must have full Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
What we offer you
- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year + commission & bonuses (above award)
- Work/Life Balance: 3.5 days on the floor, 3.5 days off – every week

Your role as a Senior Stylist
This is more than a technical role – it\’s about leading from the floor.
Premium cutting, colouring & styling: blondes, balayage, colour corrections, extensions, lived-in colour, event styling
Delivering a calm, premium client experience that reflects the Paper Rokk standard
Mentoring apprentices & emerging stylists, helping them grow
Contributing to salon education, creative projects & content
Being part of a team that thrives on support, fun, and progress
You\’ll be a great fit if you…
Have 5+ years\’ experience in the industry
Are confident in blondes, balayage, creative colour & cutting (extensions an advantage)
Love education – learning and teaching
Thrive in a team culture where people matter as much as the hair we produce
Want stability, balance, and a salon that cheers for you & invests in you long term
Hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification
