Are you an experienced Operations Manager / Logistics Manager with experience of managing 3PL partners across Europe and the USA? A well established manufacturing business in Stoke on Trent are looking for someone to manage their Warehouse operations, Demand Planning as well as continuous improvement within this function. Offering a salary of up to £65K working Monday to Friday.

The Role:

  • Leading daily warehouse activities
  • Maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and RCA of discrepancies
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for all 3PL partners across Europe and the USA
  • Monitor 3PL performance against SLA's, KPI's and contractual obligations, including fulfillment accuracy, on-time shipping and inventory integrity
  • Conduct regular reviews with each 3PL
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Suitable Candidate:

  • Experienced Operations Manager / Logistics Manager / Warehouse Manager
  • Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience of managing 3PL providers
  • Solid understanding of fulfilment operations, inventory control and logistics processes
  • Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems - Ideally SAP
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams
