Auxo Engineering are looking for a multi skilled engineer with an electrical bias to join our client based in Selby, Yorkshire on a full-time basis. They are a leading sustainable packaging manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe. They produce high-quality, sustainable corrugated packaging for a wide range of industries.
Working hours: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00 rotating weekly.
Salary: £56,000
About the Role: You will start with a structured training plan, spending time across all areas of the department and working closely with our maintenance team. This will help you gain a full understanding of our machinery, processes, and procedures. Once up to speed, you will join our 3-shift rotation, working alongside our experienced Engineers to keep production running at its best.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues, following all risk assessments and procedures.
- Working closely with Cell Technicians and Cell Leaders to maximise production output and minimise downtime.
- Ensuring machines are in top mechanical and electrical condition so we can consistently produce high-quality products.
- Sourcing parts and services when required - ensuring they are cost-effective, right first time, and delivered on time.
- Maintaining a tidy, organised work area and following all health, safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.
