Maintenance Engineer Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Daventry, Peterborough etc 4 on 4 off, 3 blocks of days followed by 1 block of nights Are you a 'hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault finding, fixing problems and keeping production moving? I am working with a successful manufacturing business looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in maintaining and improving their production equipment. What you'll be doing: * Carry out PPM and routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and maximise equipment reliability. * Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults and get machinery back up and running. * Complete machine adjustments, set-ups and changeovers to support production. * Fault-find across mechanical and electrical equipment. * Monitor and calibrate machinery to maintain quality, accuracy and safety. * Work closely with Production to identify **improvements and reduce downtime**. * Maintain accurate maintenance records, PPM schedules and spare parts information. * Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company standards. * Support the introduction of new technology and engineering improvements. What we're looking for: * Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering) * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems * Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and packaging equipment * Proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the highest levels of equipment reliability * A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous Why apply?
