Site-based in Ireland, with regular travel to UK manufacturing sites. A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments, and expanding into new markets.

The QHSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems across the company's manufacturing facilities in Ireland and the UK. This business-critical role will ensure full compliance with UK and Irish legislation, customer requirements, and relevant ISO standards, while promoting a strong QHSE culture throughout the organisation.

Applications are invited from QHSE Leaders as well as HSE Managers with previous Quality Management Systems (QMS) responsibility. Previous QHSE experience with a manufacturer of technical products or machinery used within regulated manufacturing sectors such as pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or FMCG industries is highly desirable.

It is essential that you have:

  • strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  • previously led audits and managed certification bodies
  • understanding of UK and Irish HSE legislation

Any of the below are desirable:

  • NEBOSH or equivalent
  • Lead Auditor Qualification
  • Experience with Lead Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement

You will need to be able to spend up to a week at a time in the UK on a regular basis (approximately every 6 weeks). In return, they are offering an attractive salary, company bonus, benefits package and potential for career development in the future. More information available upon application.
