A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their in–house Design Department. Their innovative processing and packaging line equipment is used across a wide variety of industries including food & FMCG.

The Design Engineer is a key member of the Design Department, responsible for creating high–quality, innovative and commercially competitive products. You will work closely with Project Engineers and other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.

This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments in automation, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means your work will be interesting and varied.

Applications are invited from Mechanical Designers, Product Designers, and Industrial Designers with previous experience of Solidworks and sheet metal & fabrication design. Previous experience of working for a manufacturer of products used within the food industry would be beneficial but not essential.
