Maintenance Labourer Location: Northampton Salary: Up to 33,000 depending on Experience Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Permanent Position The Opportunity Auxo Engineering is working with an established manufacturing business looking to strengthen its engineering team with a reliable and motivated Maintenance Labourer. This is a hands-on role supporting skilled engineers and contractors with general maintenance activities, site preparation and planned maintenance tasks. You don t need to be a qualified engineer for this position. We re looking for someone who is practical, hardworking, reliable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in developing their skills within an engineering environment. The Role As a Maintenance Labourer, you will support the engineering team with a variety of day-to-day activities, including: Assisting engineers and contractors with maintenance, repair and installation work. Preparing work areas and equipment ahead of maintenance activities. Carrying out basic building maintenance and minor repairs. Supporting engineers with basic machine maintenance and general site repairs. Completing planned maintenance tasks in line with the site s CMMS schedule.
