Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Aston, Birmingham? You will have experience of working within a manufacturing environment. As a Production Engineer you will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, looking at route cause analysis, pushing important problems for review and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Offering a salary of £40K - £55K to work Monday to Friday with a flexibility of working hours (core hours being 8-4pm). If you are interested in this role - APPLY NOW via the job board. As a Production Engineer your role will involve: * Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs. * Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components * Train and mentor production staff on new processes and techniques. Support Engineering technician * Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and action accordingly. * Plan and schedule production activities * Conduct regular inspections and audits * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements. * Design, troubleshoot, and optimise production machinery and equipment. Hours of work: Monday to Friday Core hours being 8-4pm (with flexibility on start and finish times, ensuring weekly hours are met) Suitable Candidates: * Apprentice trained (NVQ3) or and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical role * Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software * Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards If you are interested in the above role, APPLY NOW via the job board
