We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Senior Program Management will partner with our global engineering teams and key customers to ensure on-time delivery of products to finished goods as scheduled by Advanced Energy’s committed shipment date, improve our ability to meet customer delivery requirements by understanding capacity, identify constraints, risks, and actively reduce lead times (availability), and minimize our investment in raw and finished material inventory where appropriateRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers and Project Managers to achieve organizational objectives. Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and professional development plans for team members. Provide guidance and support on project planning, issue resolution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Build trusted partnerships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support successful program execution.Drive continuous improvement of Product Development Processes (PDP), stage-gate reviews, and program governance practicesLeads a cross-functional project team through all phases of New Product Development of Hyperscale PowerSupports Marketing and Design Engineering in preparing RFQ (Request for Quote) or program development proposalsPlans and manages New Product development Schedules and resource plans to deliver products ON TIME and within budgetManages projects according to Product Development Process (PDP) and ensure that any scope changes or changes to the financial targets are raised with recommendations for the appropriate actionIs accountable for project KPI’s: schedule, product and project cost targets, quality, compliance, and customer SatisfactionProvides overall direction and ownership to programs, including Risk Mitigation Plans, escalations, and issue resolutionActs as a primary point of contact working with customer Project and Design representativesWorks with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure material and factory build readinessCoordinates with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure DFM, manufacturing cycle-time and quality targets are metEnsures a smooth Mass Production product launchPrepares reports and updates for presentation to customers, senior management, and internal stakeholdersUnderstand the system design to support managing a project and leading the way through problemsIs responsible for documenting all aspects of the project development and ensuring that data is captured and used as lessons learned to drive continuous improvement WORK ENVIRONMENT:Location: Littlehampton, UKEnvironment: Onsite, office environmentQUALIFICATIONS:Essential:Bachelor degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceProduct development management experience Strong analytical and problem-solving toolsGood interpersonal skills.Capable of team building (external & internal) to drive cross-functional collaborationAbility and desire to meet project, tasks and/or assignment deadlinesAssertive, Analytical, with strong communication, presentation and organizational skillsCan work under minimal supervisionDesirable:Experience with PCBA design and/or manufacturing - preferredFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum processes - preferredPMI or PMP - preferred
