ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technology solutions to meet emerging/challenging customer requirements.
  • Extend support to design teams on analysis and solution to complex control and hardware design issues.
  • Design reviews.
  • Develop mathematical tools for power circuit and control design/iteration.
  • Provide guidance and suggestion to improve efficiency, performance, reliability, cost during product development.
  • Technical training to design teams.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with more than 12 years’ experience (essential).
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with 7+ years’ experience (desirable).
  • PhD in Power electronics preferred (desirable).
  • Knowledge in:
    • Power circuit, Analog and digital control design of single and three phase PFC, hard-switched, ZVS, resonant DC-DC converters.
    • Modeling and analysis of control loops – Mathematical and simulation.
    • Modelling, design and analysis of complex magnetic circuits.
    • EMI filter design.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest developments in the industry i.e. Wide Band Gap devices - GaN and SiC.
  • Expertise in using PLECS, Simetrix/Simplis, Mathcad, Matlab, PSIM simulation tools.
