Position Summary
Previous experience in Goods in or Despatch, responsible for booking in customer units returned for repair or service into the company\'s SAP system. Issuing parts directly to Service Technicians, managing the Service stock including weekly cycle counts, interfacing with customers via email supported by the Customer Advocate, and preparing units for shipping.
This role involves working in a small, fast-paced, goal-oriented team within a noisy High Voltage environment. Safety training will be provided to ensure safe work practices, which must always be observed.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following the 5S methodology.
- Receive and ship units using the SAP Service system.
- Manage Service stores, order parts, and conduct cycle counts.
- Coordinate with accounts regarding Import/Export and VAT inquiries.
- Issue parts directly to Technicians as needed.
- Collaborate with planners to obtain required parts.
- Ensure units are correctly labeled.
- Prepare quotes for customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accurate inventory management skills.
- Proficiency in PC skills and eagerness to learn new software.
- Teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Experience in moving heavy units with appropriate equipment.
- Ability to maintain customer unit inventory in sequential date order.
