Working alongside an experienced stores team, the successful candidate will receive on-the-job training while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification through college.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Stores Apprentice to join our team and develop a career in warehouse and inventory management.

What You'll Do

  • Throughout the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be trained to:
  • Receive, check and safely store incoming deliveries
  • Pick and issue materials to production teams
  • Replenish warehouse, lineside and electrical stock locations
  • Assist with inventory control and stock counting activities
  • Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory management system
  • Help identify and resolve stock shortages and material discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the stores department
  • Assist with waste management and general housekeeping
  • Learn safe manual handling techniques and warehouse best practices
  • Work with other departments to ensure materials are available when required
  • Learn how to safely operate warehouse equipment (including Fork Lift Trucks, where appropriate and subject to age, training and certification)
  • Support deliveries and collections as required

Training Outcome

You will work towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience within a growing manufacturer of specialist emergency vehicles.
