The main responsibilities for these roles will be to work within our SMT (Surface Mount Technology) cell for the operation of and selection of relevant programmes for our machines, in order to populate the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
The right candidate will ideally have some experience of working in manufacturing and be able to demonstrate some of the skills detailed below:
- Experience of working in an SMT facility
- Confidence in working machinery (full training provided)
- Being able to understand assembly build documents
- Inspection and touch up of PCBs experience
- Additional knowledge of electronics assembly is a huge plus

Job Location: The Bridges, Balliol Business Park, Benton Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne
SMT - Rotating shift pattern (with a Shift Allowance of 15% uplift): 2 weeks of 6.00am - 2.30pm (Mon to Thur) and 6.00am - 12pm (Fri); then 2 weeks of 2pm-12midnight (Mon to Thur).
