Advanced Collection Systems Ltd is looking for a motivated and confident Team Leader / Team Manager to manage a team of approximately 10 collection agents in a busy, target-driven environment. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supporting and motivating the team to achieve performance targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing and motivating a team of around 10 staff
- Setting, monitoring and driving performance targets
- Conducting regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews
- Carrying out call monitoring and providing coaching and feedback
- Supporting staff development and performance improvement
- Conducting return-to-work interviews and handling disciplinary matters where required
- Liaising with clients, including leading client meetings and providing performance updates
- Working closely with other Team Leaders to ensure consistency and uniformity in team management across the company
- Identifying improvements and bringing forward new ideas to enhance team performance
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a team in a target-driven environment
- Confident communicator with a firm but fair approach
- Proactive, organised and able to take initiative
- Debt recovery or collections experience
- Utilities industry experience
- Financial services or credit management background
- Previous leadership experience in a performance-based environment is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong supervisory skills from other sectors will also be considered.
- £30,000 – £35,000 salary depending on experience
- Performance bonus up to £6,000 per year
- Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends)
