We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Domiciliary Care Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care services and ensuring the well-being of our service users. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in:
- Conducting regular service user reviews to assess their needs and preferences.
- Conducting weekly check-ins with service users to monitor progress and address any concerns or issues.
- Staff Supervision and Performance Management: Conducting spot checks of staff to observe performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff members to support their professional development.
- Reporting any performance issues or training needs to management.
- Weekend On-Call Duties: Taking on weekend on-call duties as required, including completing assessments for new short-term clients.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations and coordinating care services as needed.
- Direct Care Provision: Providing care to service users as required, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, medication management, and other activities of daily living as necessary.
- Support to Office Team: Providing support to the office team as needed, including assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling, and coordination of care services.
- Collaborating with office staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between field staff and office operations.
- Short-Term Contract Assessments: Completing assessments for new short-term clients, ensuring their needs are accurately identified and appropriate care plans are developed.
- Coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless transition and delivery of care services for short-term clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or working towards.
- Proven experience in a domiciliary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing domiciliary care services.
- Flexibility to work weekends and participate in on-call duties as required.
