Advanced Assessments Ltd provides psychological reports for legal, education, and employment needs, offering expert witness services in conjunction with leading specialists from psychology, psychiatry, and general medicine. Specializing in criminal law, employment cases, rehabilitation, occupational stress, and dyslexia, ADHD, and autism assessments, we make recommendations for reasonable adjustments and support for individuals with specific learning disabilities. Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting assessments and treatments related to adolescent psychiatry, mental health, and psychiatric care. The day-to-day tasks include diagnosing autism, evaluating ADHD, providing psychiatric care, and contributing to mental health assessments. Qualifications Full GMC registration, with a license to practice and on the GMC specialist register Training in mental health assessments Level 7 in international English or O Level/GCE/GCSE English at grade C (4) or above with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely using video conferencing technology such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams Full Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatry Training in the titration of ADHD medication Experience You must have experience in one or more of the following areas: We are particularly looking for psychiatrists with their own personal identification number with experience of titration of ADHD medication and ability to prescribe ADHD medication. Ideally, you will have experience training others or the ability to develop non-medical prescribers. Diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder. Diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders, depression, emotionally unstable personality disorder, and other mental health conditions. Forensic psychiatry with experience of medicolegal reporting. Assessments under section 12 of the Mental Health Act. Experience of providing fitness to plead reports. Neuropsychiatry with experience of diagnosis and medicolegal reporting. We are particularly looking for people at consultant psychiatrist level who have specialism with children and young people and a strong background in medicolegal reporting. You will ideally have your own limited company and hold professional indemnity insurance and employers liability insurance. This post is outside IR35. You will receive quality assurance of your reports, appointment booking, and full administrative support.
