Position: Female Support Worker

Location: Windsor

Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week (Mon‑Sun, including Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons, evenings, holidays and sleep in's)

Salary: £26,058.65 per annum (£13.33 p/h)

About the Role

Advance is looking for Support Workers in Windsor to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. The role provides a rewarding opportunity in social care with flexibility and comprehensive training.

Day to Day Activities:

  • Assist with personal care and hygiene for male/female customers
  • Administer medication
  • Support with preparing and learning to cook new meals
  • Assist with attending medical appointments
  • Support with social activities
  • Support with developing independent skills
  • Assist with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Keep accurate records and update care plans as required
  • Maintain up‑to‑date training records
  • Provide support to outreach customers near the service

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Good at working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete quality support records
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • Flexible to work between 7 am and 10:30 pm
  • Capable of following a support plan and risk assessments and maintaining customer records
  • Literate and numerate in English
  • Willingness and ability to obtain the Care Certificate
