Community Keyworker Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 (pro rata)
Location: Hampshire (covers the full region)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027
Hours per week: 17.5
Eligibility: This role is open to female applicants only as being female is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. Any offer of employment will be made subject to references, confirmation of right to work in the UK, satisfactory enhanced DBS check, and police vetting.
About the role
As a Community Keyworker you will provide holistic one‑to‑one support to women involved in the Criminal Justice System, including those on probation and those being released from prison. You will work independently across local community settings and the organisation’s women’s centres, and collaborate with partner agencies to create individualised support packages.
- Assess and develop support plans for women, ensuring progress through probation supervision.
- Meet women wherever they are along their journey, providing in‑reach and “Through the Gate” support.
- Work as part of a team of Community Keyworkers in the Hampshire region.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding procedures.
- Contribute to programme improvement through reflective practice.
About you
You have a UK driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.
Experience and skills:
- Self‑starter who delivers innovative solutions for clients with complex needs.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and professional conduct.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the criminal justice system.
- Excellent administration and compliance skills.
- Understanding of local support provisions in Hampshire.
