Location:Witney or Leicester Primary Offices (Hybrid)

Hours:35 contracted hours per week

Salary:Up to £46,432.63 per annum with car allowance of £3,060.00

We\’re looking for a skilled and insightful Business Assurance Auditor to join our growing Business Assurance team as we expand our supported housing and support services across the country. This is an exciting moment to join us—our commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory excellence has never been stronger. In this role, you won\’t just audit—you\’ll influence, coach, and help shape a culture of accountability and improvement across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and delivering audit programmes aligned with regulations and our organisational strategy.

Leading audits across regions, focusing on RSH, CQC, and wider compliance and quality measures.

Assessing risk, performance, and service delivery to drive improvements.

Producing clear, constructive audit reports and action plans.

Tracking progress and following up on actions to ensure meaningful change.

Supporting colleagues to understand compliance requirements and achieve stronger outcomes.

Staying ahead of regulatory changes and sharing best practice.

Leading elements of the Annual Assurance Plan including investigations and thematic reviews.

Delivering training on audit readiness, compliance, and assurance processes.

Advising colleagues and leaders on RSH regulatory alignment.

About the candidate:

A professional audit/assurance qualification (e.g., CQI, ACCA, CIA) or working towards one.

Experience in internal/external audits, compliance, or assurance.

Ideally, a background in supported living, social care, or housing, with good knowledge of RSH and CQC.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Strong time‐management and the ability to work independently.

Confidence with Excel, MS Office, and audit systems.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regions.

Knowledge of GDPR, information governance, and health & safety.

Experience or training in risk management or quality improvement (e.g., ISO 9001).

Understanding of supported living operations, tenancy sustainment, or housing schemes.
