A fast growing consultancy are actively looking for a new Civil/Structural Engineer to join their expanding team that are working on Hinkley Point C nuclear new build. There will also be further opportunity to work on Sizewell in the near future. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex reinforced concrete and steel structures using advanced digital construction methods. You will collaborate with site engineers, CAD teams, and international design offices to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Modify and detail reinforced concrete and steel designs in line with Eurocodes.
- Check and coordinate 3D BIM and 2D drawings with CAD and design teams.
- Manage engineering changes, field requests, and non-conformance issues.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and international back-office engineers.
- Conduct site inspections and technical reviews.
Qualifications
- Civil, Structural, or Infrastructure Engineering background.
- 2+ years of UK experience, ideally in reinforced concrete and steel design.
- Experience in nuclear or heavy industry projects preferred, but not essential.
- Experience with structural design and analysis software is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
Additional Information
- Security clearance required.
- 3 days a week in their Bristol office, with occasional visits to the Hinkley site.
