The role will focus on brownfield site investigations, ground investigation management and site-based supervision, working across a range of construction projects. The Role You will be responsible for planning, managing and supervising ground investigation works, including drilling and associated site investigations. Planning and managing ground investigations across construction and brownfield sites. Supervising drilling, boreholes, trial pitting, window sampling and in-situ testing. Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS 5930. Carrying out groundwater, ground gas and surface water monitoring. Managing specialist GI subcontractors and laboratories. Reviewing RAMS, method statements, permits and technical documentation. Producing and reviewing factual Ground Investigation Reports (GIRs).
