Advance TRS is currently working with an established and growing consultancy within the UK water sector to recruit a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer for its Bristol-based water team. This is a newly available opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing team delivering a broad portfolio of water and wastewater projects for major clients across the UK. The position could suit engineers specialising in either water and wastewater infrastructure/networks or non-infrastructure, with candidates from either background encouraged to apply. Experience across both areas would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will take a lead role in the technical delivery of water and wastewater projects, working alongside Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Depending on the candidate's experience and area of specialism, projects may include:
- Water and wastewater networks and pipelines
- Foul and surface water drainage
- Pumping stations
- CSOs and network storage
- SuDS and nature-based solutions
- Flood alleviation schemes
- Water and wastewater treatment assets
- Civil works associated with process and MEICA installations
- Outline and detailed design
- Technical specifications and construction documentation
