About the Role
Our client is currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join their team, delivering outline designs and detailed specifications primarily for water and wastewater schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking outline and detailed designs and specifications for civil engineering works.
- Providing day-to-day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
- Ensuring design outputs are delivered in line with agreed scopes, timescales, and budgets.
- Working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and add value for the end client.
About You
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and be chartered or actively working towards chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
- Proven knowledge and experience in civil design for the water sector, including infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects.
- The ability to work effectively across disciplines and with external stakeholders to develop innovative, tailored design solutions.
- Experience delivering water and wastewater designs and specifications for Water Companies, Contractors, or related sectors.
- A strong understanding of the environmental impact of engineering works and awareness of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes, and health and safety legislation.
