We're recruiting Mechanical Fitters for a long-term contract at a busy industrial site in Abingdon.
Duties:
- Assembly and preparation of mechanical components
- Maintenance, modification, and installation work
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Supporting wider engineering teams to deliver projects
- Working to high standards of safety and quality
Requirements:
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience in industrial/mechanical environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable:
- Vacuum systems or cooling systems knowledge
Full-time on site BPSS clearance required (clearance can be obtained prior to start).
