Senior Mechanical Engineer – Water Sector St Albans: Hybrid (3 Days Office)
Contract: £45–£50/hr (Outside IR35)
Advance TRS are supporting a rapidly growing consultancy in their search for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Joining a newly formed London business unit, you'll have the unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up, influence how projects are delivered, and play a significant role in the future growth of the business within the UK water market.
You'll lead the mechanical design of clean water and wastewater projects, producing high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Deliver mechanical design solutions for water and wastewater projects
- Lead and review work from junior engineers and CAD technicians
- Support project planning, estimating and technical decision-making
Requirements:
- 8+ years' mechanical design experience within the UK water sector
- Experience with clean water and/or wastewater projects
- Knowledge of electrical and control systems is advantageous
