Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (various levels considered) Location: UK offices – hybrid working Salary: £36,000-£64,000 About the Role: Our client is seeking Mechanical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary design team in one of their UK offices. This role focuses on creating innovative and sustainable mechanical designs for water-related projects across the UK. You will collaborate with industry-leading experts, broaden your expertise, and challenge conventional thinking in this rewarding position. Key Responsibilities: Develop outline and detailed designs and specifications for mechanical systems and solutions. Provide daily technical input within a team of engineers and technicians. Deliver design outputs aligned with the agreed scope, timescales, and budgets. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project excellence and added value for clients. What Our Client is Looking For: A degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with chartered status in a relevant professional institution. In-depth experience with mechanical design for water industry projects. Proven ability to deliver mechanical designs and specifications related to water treatment and distribution. Awareness of environmental implications, sustainable solutions, and health and safety legislation.
