Assistant Project Manager - Water
Location: Manchester
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Advance TRS are working with a growing engineering consultancy looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join its Manchester team and support the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects within the water sector.
This is a great opportunity for someone with early project or engineering design experience who wants to move into a more structured Project Management role, with clear progression towards Project Manager level.
The Role
- Supporting multidisciplinary water design projects
- Coordinating design teams and supply chain partners
- Maintaining project programmes and monitoring progress
- Supporting cost tracking, variations and change management
- Assisting with NEC and other contract requirements
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
- Reporting on project progress and performance
- Supporting tenders and technical proposals
About You
We're looking for someone with 2-5 years' experience within engineering design, design coordination/management or design-focused project management.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience working on engineering design projects
- Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- An interest in developing a career in Project Management
- Water sector and/or NEC experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential
