Our client is seeking a Principal Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to lead delivery teams on a range of wastewater projects. The role combines technical leadership, stakeholder management, and innovation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
- Liaise with stakeholders and prepare reports, specifications, datasheets, and technical content for contracts.
- Approve designs and ensure adherence to technical governance and QA standards.
- Manage project finances to ensure delivery within budget.
- Resolve complex design issues and challenge company standards to promote continuous improvement.
- Research industry best practice and promote digital design innovation.
- Collaborate with supply chains and delivery partners to drive efficiency.
- Line manage, coach, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring staff engagement and development.
What Our Client is Looking For
- MEng, BEng, BSc, or HNC in Engineering, Environmental, or numerate science-related subject.
- Chartered Engineer with a relevant Engineering/Scientific Institution.
- Proven experience delivering wastewater hydraulic modelling projects within the UK Water Industry.
- Strong understanding of wastewater engineering theory, hydraulic modelling, and solution development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Full driving licence and competency in MS Office and relevant IT design tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
