As OHL Project Manager (LV-33kV), you will oversee the planning, delivery, and management of overhead line (OHL) works across low-voltage to 33kV networks, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Coordinating field teams and subcontractors
- Managing work schedules and resource allocation
- Monitoring project progress against programme and budget targets
- Reviewing technical designs and work instructions
- Supporting risk assessments and method statements
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
- Resolving operational issues
- Maintaining accurate project documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement across overhead line operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the safe planning and delivery of LV-33kV overhead line projects
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery

- Review technical documentation, designs, and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and industry standards
- Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience managing overhead line projects on LV-33kV distribution networks, with a strong understanding of utility industry standards and procedures
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, including safe systems of work, risk assessments, and method statements
- Proven ability to manage field teams, subcontractors, and project resources effectively
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
- Experience producing reports and maintaining project documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project scheduling or asset management systems
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Distribution, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience within the UK utilities or power distribution sector is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
