A requirement for a well-rounded civil engineering professional with broad experience across multiple disciplines rather than someone who specialises in a single area. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in:
- Earthworks
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Associated assets
- Roadworks/highways construction
The project includes:
- Construction of 10 km of new dual carriageway
- 4.5 km of side roads
- Approximately 1 million m of earthworks
- Four major structures incorporating around 12,000 m of concrete
- Ongoing assets and roadworks as the project progresses
The earthworks phase is now largely complete, with the project moving into the structures, associated assets, and road construction stages. They should be comfortable working across different aspects of a large infrastructure project and adapting as the project progresses through its various construction phases.
Location: Inverness. Due to the project's remote location, the ideal candidates will either be based in the Highlands, and/or have a clear understanding of the logistics and commitment required to work in this region and hold a valid driving license.
