About the Role: Our client is seeking an Assistant MEICA Engineer to support the delivery of the landmark Havant Thicket Reservoir project. Working alongside the Lead Engineer, you'll help manage the design assurance process, supporting detailed design, commissioning, and handover of this major water infrastructure scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering Lead with design assurance activities across the project
- Coordinate design review meetings, track actions, and produce regular progress reports
- Monitor and manage design submissions from main works contractors
- Track Technical Queries, ensuring responses are provided within contractual timescales
- Collate stakeholder feedback and prepare consolidated Client Comment Sheets
- Liaise with internal teams, including Operations, Water Quality, and Consents, to support the design review process
- Assist in developing systems and processes to improve the engineering assurance function
About You:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering-related discipline
- Experience working on earthworks and/or pipeline projects
- Knowledge of BIM and Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of the engineering design process
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
