Survey CAD Manager Role Overview The Survey CAD Manager will manage the creation, control, and distribution of survey and engineering data across a major infrastructure project. The role is responsible for establishing CAD standards, improving information workflows, and ensuring project teams have access to accurate, reliable, and compliant data. Key Responsibilities Lead the management and quality assurance of survey and engineering CAD information. Act as the interface between survey, design, engineering, and construction teams. Develop and maintain CAD standards, procedures, and best practice guidance. Ensure design and survey data is correctly transferred and used throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the management of utility and subsurface information to support safe construction activities. Provide technical support, training, and guidance on CAD and survey software. Manage CAD systems, licences, and related digital resources. Drive continuous improvement in information management and project delivery processes.Skills & Experience Experience in engineering survey, CAD management, digital engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Microstation and Revit. Understanding of BIM and information management principles, including ISO 19650. Experience working with survey, utility, and engineering data. Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders and maintain technical standards. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
