An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure commercial team based in Exeter. Working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, you'll gain exposure to sectors including Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities and Major Infrastructure programmes. With a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in the South West region, this is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and flexible environment.
Projects vary significantly in scale, from nationally recognised programmes through to local authority and regional infrastructure schemes, providing excellent opportunities to broaden your experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the commercial management of infrastructure projects
- Cost planning, estimating and forecasting
- Contract administration under NEC contracts
- Managing change control and compensation events
- Supporting procurement and tendering activities
- Preparing valuations and financial reports
- Working closely with project teams and clients
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure projects
- NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4)
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Various travel requirements could be expected
- Salary up to £50,000
