Our client is seeking experienced Senior and Principal Civil Engineers to join a multidisciplinary design team delivering projects across the regulated water sector. These opportunities are suited to engineers with strong design experience within water and wastewater who enjoy solving complex engineering problems, developing practical solutions and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Depending on experience, you will take ownership of technical delivery, support multidisciplinary design teams and contribute to maintaining high standards of engineering quality and compliance. Working closely with senior management and project teams, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and efficient engineering solutions.

- Deliver civil engineering design across regulated water sector projects
- Ensure design deliverables meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review design deliverables, technical reports, specifications and design risk assessments (DRAs)
- Develop practical and efficient engineering solutions based on project scope, site requirements and client needs
- Communicate engineering solutions effectively to project teams and stakeholders
- Support and collaborate with engineers, CAD technicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, professional guidance and water company specifications
- Manage design changes and maintain accurate project documentation
- Support project planning through design input and programme coordination
Experience within the regulated water industry in a civil design capacity:
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater engineering systems
- Experience delivering infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and engineering drawing practices
- Strong IT and digital design capability
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Demonstrable experience delivering civil design within the water sector
- Ability to work independently and contribute technically to project delivery
- Extensive design experience within the regulated water sector (typically 10+ years)
