About the Role
Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer with approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience to join its growing design and project delivery team.
This is an opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of civil engineering, surface-water drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) projects, combining sound engineering principles with landscape design, green infrastructure and nature-based solutions.
You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from initial site assessments and feasibility studies through to technical design, stakeholder coordination and practical implementation.
Working alongside experienced engineering professionals and multidisciplinary teams, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, take increasing ownership of projects and build your client relationship and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake civil engineering and surface-water drainage design, incorporating SuDS and nature-based solutions.
Carry out site visits to assess existing conditions, drainage constraints and opportunities for improvement.
Complete hydraulic calculations and, where appropriate, drainage modelling.
Assess drainage requirements, site levels, attenuation, flow controls, exceedance routes and wider site constraints.
Prepare, review and coordinate engineering designs, technical drawings and supporting calculations.
Collaborate with landscape architects, environmental specialists, highways professionals and other design disciplines.
Liaise with clients, developers, local authorities, water companies, contractors and other project stakeholders.
