We are working with a specialist consultancy delivering electrical design solutions to a portfolio of long-standing, trusted clients. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to appoint Electrical Design Engineers at all levels, from junior through to senior and principal.
The Role
You will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects, typically up to 33kV, with exposure to higher voltage projects up to 132kV. The business also delivers major, large-scale projects, offering strong technical variety and progression opportunities. Depending on your level, you will take on increasing responsibility, from supporting design delivery through to leading projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems up to 33kV (with exposure up to 132kV)
- Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to deliver projects successfully
- Support or lead projects from concept through to completion
About You
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in electrical design within utilities, ICP, or consultancy environments
- Familiarity with HV/LV design, ideally up to 33kV or higher
