Contract: Long-term contract

We are currently supporting a major power infrastructure contractor delivering projects across the North of the UK and are looking to speak with experienced Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) with experience operating on networks up to 132kV.

This role will involve supporting the safe delivery of HV works across a range of substation, cable and network reinforcement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as Senior Authorised Person for HV systems up to 132kV
  • Carrying out HV switching, isolations and safety documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with DNO safety rules and operational procedures
  • Supporting commissioning and energisation of new infrastructure
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works
Requirements
  • Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status up to 132kV
  • Experience working on DNO networks (SPEN authorisations highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of HV switching procedures and safety rules
  • Background in substations, cables, or network infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work within project delivery environments
